National board notes

• Instructions for Sending INBDE or NBDE Results
• Official National Board scores must be submitted directly to the ADEA CAAPID application. Candidates must ensure that their official results are sent through ADEA CAAPID in order for their application to be considered for evaluation.
• Applicants should
• send their National Board results directly to the Admissions Office.

TOEFL instructions

• The TOEFL exam will not be required for this program. Candidates applying to the Advanced Standing Program must be bilingual in both English and Spanish. Language proficiency will be evaluated during the interview process.
• Candidates who may have deficiencies in one or both languages will be referred for evaluation by the Language Support Program (LSP) at Ponce Health Sciences University (PHSU).
• The LSP will conduct a verbal assessment for the candidate. Please note that this evaluation is free of charge.

Letters of evaluation

• First Letter: It must come from someone who can comment on the applicant's academic performance, such as a professor, dean of the school or academic advisor. For non-traditional candidates, it must come from a supervisor or employer.
• The second letter must be from someone who can assess advocacy experience—letters from people who know the applicant rather than those with impressive titles. For non-traditional candidates, it must come from a supervisor or employer.
